Dear interFoamers,

there are several reports that the outlet affects the alpha1 phase in interFoam:

www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam/95524...-condition-interfoam

www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam/79714...low-outlet-interfoam

www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam-solvi...g-pisofoam-interfoam

www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam/97987...using-interfoam.html

and others. After trying out all boundary condition sets, grid resolutions and even compiling interFoam back to the PISO-loop, I produced the attatched two cases that only differ in the x-coordinate of the grid location. Could one rerun the case and check if at the XGreaterZero the alpha1 phase gets reflected at the outlet? For file size reasons I have removed the constant folder and placed blockMesh, g and transportProperties files instead. the g corresponds to a 30° inclined flume that accelerates the alpha1 phase towards the outlet.

Ok, first tests by others at cfd-online.com confirm the behavior. I will report the bug on tuesday.
