Description	The following topics are dealt with:1) Multiphase flows: Euler-Euler description of gas-liquid and gas-solid flows with either multi-fluid models, or high-order, quadrature-based moment methods for the solution of the particle/bubble kinetic equation.2) Solution of population balance equations with quadrature-based moment methods, with applications to bubble columns, fludized beds for polymerization, nano-precipitation in micro-reactors.3) Turbulent flow simulation in chemical reactors with both RANS and LES approaches. Recent applications include the simulation of confined flows in micro-reactors for nano-precipitation.
